Bilk return with their new track “RnR’, released alongside an electric video depicting the group’s vigorous lifestyle as rock and roll stars in the making.
The videos sees the trio performing on rooftops, pubs as well as in a vintage porsche as the frontman Sol blurts out the lyrics “I’m a rock and roll star, so take me away”
The raw lyricism and frantic energy of the song embodies the abrasive British youth culture, and the Chelmsford trio have formed a soundscape laced with guitar riffs and heavy drum breaks that creates a perfect canvas for frontman Sol to blurt out his powerful and charged lyrics.
Sol had this to say about the groups latest release,”RNR is about living your life as a rock and roll star. Even if you ain’t one, it’s about going out and believing you are. Living life your way, walking with a strut in your step, believing in yourself and what you’re about and not giving a fuck what people have to say about it.”
The new release comes just before the trio kick off their nationwide tour with the group hitting the stage at 9 different venues across the country, with tickets still available for some date here.
‘RnR’ is Bilk’s latest release and is available to listen to and watch here.
