Raye Drops her new Ep Side Tape

Ever since we heard pop singer Raye come up on the scene fresh off leaving the Brit School 3 years we have seen her release a number of well know  featured singles including Jax Jones 'You Don't Know Me and Jonas Blue's 'By Your Side'  Kojo Fund's 'Check'  before releasing her own single  'The Line' last summer followed by a string of other singles.

Now the songstress has dropped her third  EP Side Tape.

The 6 track EP is the thrid to be released by Raye following the release of her debut EP  Welcome to the Winter in 2014 and Second  in 2016. The EP features from some of the UKs biggest emerging talent at the moment with artist from the likes of Stefflon Don, Mabel, RAY BLK, Kojo Funds, Maleek Berry, Nana Rogues, Mr Eazi, Avelino and Steel Banglez all appearing on the EP.

As well featuring the already released tracks Decline and Cigarettes it also includes two new tracks from Raye 'Confidence' (which you listen to below) and 'Wife Me'.

As an artist who has been grafting for a while now, she has already started 2018 with a banging start with a BRIT Award nomination for 'Best Single' with Jax Jones, followed by a Top 15 charting single, the Silver certified 'Decline', a record that stayed on the Radio 1 A List for a massive 8 weeks. This was followed by 'Cigarette', one of the year’s most exciting collaboration with Mabel and Stefflon Don. The track has already had over 10 million streams of Spotify.

Raye has not only been making her name in terms of her music but also as a songwriter she has become one of the go tos having penned hits for some big artists working with the likes of John Legend, Charli XCX, Nas, Little Mix, Snakehips, Julia Michaels, Blood Pop, Ellie Goulding, Diplo and Naughty Boy. Her collaborations + song writing credits have racked up over 1 billion streams to date.

If this is anything to go off on this has shown how Raye is an artist that we should all be looking out for. Raye is to support Rita Ora on her upcoming UK tour next month, before headlining  her own SOLD OUT show at London's Village Underground on May 31st and supporting Halsey on her London dates in September.

As a fan of Raye we at ASBO are looking forward to catching her on the road and seeing what else she does next.
