New Sounds of Soca with Ms Desire

Here at ASBO we are all about discovering the new emerging talents across the music scenes not just in the UK but all over the globe. We look across multiple genres of music in bringing new fresh talent out for people to discover.

And so with that search for new talent we came across an artist who goes by the name of Ms Desire who hails from Barbados and is entering the game of Soca which if you are unaware is a genre of music that hails from the Caribbeans and definately gives you all the feels of being on a tropical island.

She started her musical journey in 2008, and has been a consistent driving force in the soca scene, working with power houses such as Precision Productions, Monstapiece and Hardware Muzyk, just to name a few. Desire has already been listed on MTV’s Brand New Ones to Watch and also had her music added to the in-flight entertainment of all British Airways flights.

Her talent was noticed by the VPAL Soca team, a subsidiary of VP Records where she was signed and shortly after released her debut album DESIRE in August of last year. After building on from last playing various gigs not just in London but also in the UK but in other European countries she is back with her new track Doing Me.
