Pick of the Week: KWAYE - Sweetest Life.

Following the release of his debut single Cool Kids and follow up Little Ones, KWAYE returned this week with 'Sweetest Life', the final single to complete his single EP. 'Sweetest Life' continues the 80s smooth synth-pop sound established in the previous singles and makes for an incredible completion to a first body of work.

Charlotte Cardin - Dirty Dirty (Stripped)

Canadian Charlotte Cardin had her first exposure to the world through Canada’s La Voix (The Voice), where she became a Top Four finalist. Charlotte then went on release a debut EP last year, and this month returned bigger than ever. This week came the announcement that Charlotte is the latest addition to Atlantic Record’s roster, and to celebrate, she released a stripped version of her single 'Dirty Dirty'. Charlotte’s tone and lyricism is reminiscent of Amy Winehouse, and 'Dirty Dirty' is a fine example of this.

Vic Mensa - Gorgeous (Feat. Syd)

Three years after the release of his first official single, rapper Vic Mensa released his debut album, The Autobiography this week. 'Gorgeous', featuring vocals from The Internet’s lead singer is heavily inspired by classic Pharrell Williams tracks right down to the vocal production.

Kesha - Learn To Let Go

Now, her third promo single release into her comeback album, Rainbow, due August 11th, 'Learn To Let Go' is yet another empowering anthem as the singer takes on her mantra that embodied her artistry at the beginning of her career. Coinciding with a video release, the single is a throwback to her earlier work while continuing her departure from the dance-pop production which laced her first two albums.

Charli XCX - Boys

Also gearing up to the release her third album, is Charli XCX, who returned this week with new single 'Boys'. The new single, is her next collaboration to be released with SOPHIE, following their work together on her Number 1 Angel mixtape released earlier this year. The new single offers a taste of what more is to come from the singer, following her day-long album recording session with PC Music’s A. G. Cook.
