Joel Baker Embarks on UK University Tour

Previously highlighted as one of our favourite new releases, up and coming singer/songwriter and ex-Labour party speech writer, Joel Baker has embarked on an intense ten date tour which will see him stop at over twenty Universities and city centres around the UK in support of his debut mixtape, Bag of Dreams released earlier in September.

Speaking on the EP, the rapper says:

This project was all about expressing the colours on my palette. I am from the generation where genre’s are there to mixed and blended, and this project showcases that. Somewhere in between J.Cole and Joni Mitchell you’ll find seven songs which bear the bruises of my soul.

Featuring guest appearances from Abra Cadabra and Maths Time Joy, the seven track EP is the story of Joel's journey as he made the transition from Nottingham to London with the ambition of making it into the music world. Tipped as one of Virgin EMI's hottest signings, the mixtape shows early signs of incredible promise from Baker.
