Following two successful events from the female lead initiative Women Connect are back with a third event tackling Mental Health to take place on September 25th.

The event which will center around the stigma of mental health in the creative industries will include a panel by employees and creatives from around the UK music scene. As well as, addressing issues such as funding and financial literacy for creatives, advice on maintaining a healthy work-life balance and how to progress in your career despite industry politics and saturation.

As an initiative it is refreshing to see a bunch of young women in the creative space coming together in bringing others together to empower and create spaces for other women to connect and explore topics and issues that may have previously been unspoken off.

And if their previous events are anything to go off there is no doubt that the next event will be unmissable. You can find out more about women connect @womenconnectuk and purchase tickets here.
