Julia Michaels - Happy

After releasing her Ep Inner Monologue Part 1 last month we can safely say that we are obsessed with Julia Michael. After we caught sound of Julie Michaels following her mini album Nervous System in 2017 we knew she was one to keep an eye as a refreshing voice in pop music these days.

Whilst she spent much of her 2018 touring and performing all over the world with artists such as Shawn Mendes, Niall Horan and Maroon 5 to name a few. Kicking off the year with Inner Monologue Part 1 we are excited for what 2019 has in store for Julia who is set to embark on her on headline tour this year.

Happy one of the tracks on the EP that we are shamelessly calling our favourites speaks to Julia who is a songwriter and very much uses life situation and applies to her art. The video which was released this week is just a fun carefree video which captures the essences of the song. We are of course loving the video and of course will be playing the song on repeat this weekend.

Dijon is an American R&B/Folk singer who is not only releasing his EP Sci Fi 1 which is out today. This week he dropped visuals for his song Bad Luck off the EP.

One way that we can describe the song is very chilled and a song to soothe your Friday night and weekend. We heard the track and we loved it. For even more vibes the whole EP is a combination of smooth R&B vibes combined with folk elements something that we have never seen before.

As well as the song and the EP the video for Bad Luck was released as well and definitely worth a watch. Check it out below

The collaboration we didn’t know wanted came in the form of Loose Ends a new track by British rapper Loyle Carner featuring songstress Jorja Smith.

The songs features two well blended vocals on the easy beat of the track and Loyle spitting very honest and personal bars. Jorja’s brings her soothing vocals that she is known for and echoes giving that song that added dimension. Do yourself a favour and check the song out you will not bed disappointed.
