ASBO Live: Anne Marie

Last night we joined the massive crowd which was literally around the black at Brixton’s O2 Academy for the first of a two night stint for Anne Marie’s show as part of her Speak Your Mind Tour.

The songstress who seems to be on the road ever since she released her debut album Speak Your Mind earlier this year. She embarked on her first headline tour from April - March which saw her playing shows across the UK as well as Europe, before she joined Ed Sheeran supporting him as he embarked on his Divide Stadium Tour this summer and now she has returned to the stage on her Speak Your Mind Tour which will continue onto 2019.

And whilst it may seem as if she is going non-stop the songstress who came up on the scene after the release of her single Alarm has been going non stop ever since playing shows and building her presences which resulted in two sold out shows at Brixton’s O2 Academy.

The show was filled with energy and a crowd which unsurprisingly knew all the words to all the songs on her set. Filled with abstract and creative visuals behind the screen as well as LED screens on the stage Anne Marie certainly put in all of her energy gave a good vocal performance.

The setlst consisted of songs from her album Speak Your Mind which included fan favourites Ciao Adios, Alarm 2002, as well as other songs on the album such as Cry, Then, Heavy, her latest single Perfect To Me which included video footage of various fans and frineds of the singers including Shawn Mendes and Ed Sheeran speaking on what Perfect means to them. She also perfect her Clean Bandit collaboration track Rockabye and her David Guetta collaboration Don’t Leave Me Alone.

All in all the setlist really had the crowd going from start to finish with Anne-Marie never stopping the energy and giving her all from start to the finish. The production also contributed greatly towards the show with the lighting and effects on the stage with the visuals the whole show was a good experience.

As Anne-Marie continues a second show at Brixton’s O2 tonight as well as the remainder of her shows across the UK this year and Europe next year fans wherever will be in for a treat wherever they see her perform.
