CLASS OF 2025: KINGSTON UNIVERSITY

Kingston University Fashion’s BA students staged a show of their graduate collections in Shoreditch Town Hall on Thursday night, the eve of Graduate Fashion Week, which acts as a vital opportunity for graduates to try and stamp their mark on the industry.

Becoming excellent at something is not easy in the least. It takes physical and mental pain, both of which Kingston BA Fashion students experience in those three years they polish their craft, voice and identity with collections ranging from the eccentric and the artistic to the conceptual, Kingston’s Class Of 2025 showed the right balance of creativity and commercial elements (the collections could easily be on a shop floor) . The students leave with an high level of technical skills , a good eye for commercial design which is why many industry insiders can be seen at the Kingston show with students being snapped up by international fashion houses before the ink on their degree certificate is dry! Among the standouts were Eden Cox, Spencer Thornton, Ashanti Clark, Lauren Lewis and Holly Brown.
