Prido, an up-and-coming afrofusion musician from Manchester releases his new track ‘Toxic’. It’s a story of love that captures the “bittersweet pull of a relationship that keeps drawing you back despite the red flags” – something we can all relate to, right? He mentions the ‘addictive’ nature of those types of toxic relationships. The track is smooth and danceable – making it the perfect sound for summer, and getting us in the mood for lighter and brighter days ahead.
Prido is no stranger to a good time, popping off during festival season 2024…ah to be back at Reading Festival in the glistening sun, dancing along with elated strangers to his iconic track ‘Energies’ whilst waving and dancing along to his infectious beats. His lyrics are insightful and relatable, but his songs have the most light & bright energy.
Guaranteed to bring a good time anywhere he goes, Prido is one to watch, and one not to miss. So check him out live in his hometown Manchester, on March 28th at YES (The Basement), get your tickets here.
